I have had a superb idea for a telly programme. The excellent news today is that my bed doesn’t dislike me. I am not sure about the cause of the shoulder pain still, but the problem with my neck is Cricket Ache caused by dropping off in front of the television whilst watching the cricket and not being able to retain wakefulness. At least I did manage to see the termination of the match. It will not be reoccurring, I am very much a Test match fan and will not be bothering to remain up for the limited over matches. Besides, this being a Friday, in the coming weeks I’ll be aiming to get an early start at work so that I can nick off in the afternoon to go angling.

My absence from the waterside in the years since I halted angling looks so odd to me now.
